Our Mission: The Mission of Karl Road Baptist Church is to Grow Godly Generations through evangelism, discipleship, worship, prayer, and service. We will strive to keep these 5 areas of ministry in proper balance with a multi-generational focus.
Our Priorities:
We will seek to bring unbelievers into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through a multifaceted approach to evangelism beginning in the greater Columbus area and extending around the world.
Once a person has trusted Christ as Savior we will help them grow in that relationship through our Christian Education Ministry. They will grow in a knowledge of the Bible, the basic beliefs of the Christian Faith and a consistent walk with the Lord.
We encourage all believers to participate in our weekly worship services as we proclaim the greatness of our God and give to Him the praise and glory that He deserves.
We want every believer to be developing a personal prayer life, a family prayer life and to be part of the church's corporate prayer life. Participation in our 24 hour prayer chain is strongly encouraged.
Every believer has been given one or more spiritual gifts. These gifts are to be used to strengthen the church. We want every believer to discover their gift, be equipped in how to use it and placed into a ministry.
Every believer needs to be transformed from just going to church to being the church. The Church as the Body of Jesus Christ is to be a strong, healthy and powerful reflection of Him. As we commit ourselves to our Vision and give ourselves to our Mission we should expect not only the presence of God in our midst but the power of God in our efforts. These priorities are the Lord's directions to His church. We must follow them and strive to keep them in balance.
